These terms and conditions constitute an agreement with you and Pesda Press Ltd. By using this website and making purchases from Pesda Press you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be subject to change at any time, at our discretion. Please review these terms often to ensure you are aware of any changes. If you do not agree to all the following terms you should not use this site. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
Pesda Press reserves the right to allow or withhold login access to the website or parts of the website from any individual. Please use the site and the free content we provide responsibly.
Payment
We accept Visa, Access, MasterCard, Delta, Switch and Solo.
Security
When you proceed to purchase the goods in your shopping cart you will be transferred to our payment pages on our online credit card payment processor PayPoint. Only then will you be asked to enter your payment details. Credit card information is transferred by secure 128 bit SSL encryption. PayPoint use advanced fraud checking features such as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and Address Verification Service (AVS). You can verify the secure connection by checking that the web address (URL) starts with 'https://'.
Confirmation
When an order or payment has been accepted you will receive confirmation by email. Contracts will be concluded in English language.
Currencies
Prices shown in Euros or Dollars are approximate and for guidance only. If you are buying from outside the United Kingdom, when you make your payment using your debit or credit card, you will be debited for the sterling amount and your bank will convert the transaction into your currency.
Delivery
We want to make it as simple as possible to get our books, so we offer free Delivery on all orders from within the Europe. We use Royal Mail 2nd class postage within the UK which normally arrives after two working days. For all other European destinations we use Royal Mail Airmail, this normally arrives within three working days from despatch.
If you order from outside the UK or Europe a shipping and handling charge will be applied to your order total. We'll send your books Royal Mail Airmail which normally arrives within five working days from despatch.
- £3.00 p&p on orders up to £10 in value
- £4.00 p&p on orders up to £20 in value
- £4.50 p&p on orders up to £30 in value
- orders above £30 - £5 p&p
Our aim is to despatch goods as quickly as possible, this will normally be the same day if the order is received before midday. Otherwise it will normally go out the following working day. Transactions on your credit card only get processed at time of despatch. Any amendments to the original order in the intervening time need to be confirmed in writing.
In the unlikely event that your order hasn't arrived within a reasonable period of time and we have not contacted you please feel free to contact us and ask where your books are.
Items on back order will be despatched as soon as they become available with no delivery charge.
Cancellation
You have an unconditional right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving your order. You must provide Pesda Press with written notice of cancellation and you must return at your own cost all goods in the condition in which they were received by you. If we have already processed your payment we will refund you in full within 30 days of cancellation.

As soon as we receive a complaint action will be taken to rectify the problem. If you contacted us by post or email we will reply by email. If you contact us by phone we aim to be able to resolve the issue immediately. If we need a little time to investigate the matter then no later than the following working day.
Returns
We will refund or exchange any item and we do not charge for returns. In return we require that returned goods must be unused and in saleable condition (as good as new).
If you want to make a return, please contact us before posting the books, email returns@pesdapress.com, or phone our office on +44 (0)1286 685233. Once we have received the books, we will credit your account.
If you have received and item that is damaged, faulty or we have sent the incorrect item, we will refund the postage for returning the books. If you have changed your mind about your order and wish to return the books, you will need to pay the postage.
Goods must be returned to us within 21 days. We deal with returns the day they arrive, but should there be any reason for delay we will contact you.
Liability
Canoeing, kayaking, climbing, mountaineering, hill walking and associated activities are risky and potentially deadly. It is the individual's own responsibility to fully accept all risks, damages, injury or death which may result from such activities. Evaluate your experience honestly before you put your life in danger, and seek qualified instruction.
Pesda Press Ltd does not seek to limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from their negligence.
Privacy
Pesda Press does not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Where 'cookies' are used on this website, they are used to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart and wish list once you have selected an item and to store your preferred delivery addresses if the address book is used.
